PETA gives away fur this winter

Expect the unexpected. While the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals organization aims to protect animal rights, they are also apparently giving away their pelts, but for a good cause. The fur coats, wool scarves and leather jackets are being donated to the homeless people of Detroit, where the corporation is based, during this freezing winter season.

“PETA has long said that only people who are truly struggling to survive have any excuse for wearing fur. While we can’t bring the animals who were slaughtered for fur, leather, and other skins back to life, together we can help bring a little warmth to people in desperate need,” said the organization.
