Diane von Furstenberg to get her own reality show

Iconic luxury fashion designer Diane von FA?rstenberg has just signed contract with the United States cable network E! to star in her very own reality television show.

The apprentice-like documentary series called “DVF” (working title), which was announced in a press release by the network on Wednesday, March 26th, will reportedly follow the life of the sixty-seven year-old wrap-dress creator and eight of her eager-to-please colleagues in training as they compete for the opportunity to work directly with Diane von FA?rstenberg.

A fundamental part of all major Diane von FA?rstenberg divisions, the winner will be named the company’s Global Brand Ambassador and will get the chance to represent the Belgian-born designer and her multimillion-dollar business around the world.

No word yet on when the show will debut, but it is said to culminate during New York Fashion Week. This wouldn’t be the first time the fashion icon has appeared in a reality show, as she has often appeared as a guest judge on the aspiring designer series Project Runway, which is hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum.
