Kate Moss rocks monochrome getup for VIP screening of Pitch Perfect 2

Kate Moss knows all there is to know as far as dressing on tip top point is concerned, no matter if she is off duty or attending a major fashion event, she is sure to attract plenty of attention either way. And the British supermodel did not disappoint when it came down to pulling in more than a few looks when she made her presence known at the special VIP screening of Pitch Perfect 2 on the night of Thursday (the thirtieth day of this month).

The forty-one year old fashion icon, who has become nearly as famous for her extravagant and headline-making choices of furry attire as she has been for her more or less two and a half decades of being the, if not one of the, most influential women in the world of fashion, most certainly got people buzzing about her when she made her way to the super trendy Mayfair Hotel in London, venue which treated a select few big name celebrities to a sneak peek of the American film Pitch Perfect 2 (directed by Elizabeth Banks), which is set to officially hit public theaters on the Friday, the fifteenth day of next month.

Moss has already gotten away with wearing over the top creations made with real fur, so it should come as no surprise whatsoever that the Croydon-born beauty opted to integrate some of the animal pelt into her top to bottom monochrome outfit that evening. Her attention grabbing ensemble consisted of a black fur jacket worn over a mostly white long sleeved top with vertical black stripes, and a black pair of skinny jeans which were tucked into a set of eye catching leather boots and fastened by a matching buckled belt. She completed the yellow carpet look with a studded leather handbag and several jewelry accessories here and there.

Letting her impeccable sense of fashion be the center of focus, the iconic mother-of-one showed up at the establishment with her glossy blonde locks in a rather unkempt style, parted at the center to curtain her mannequin complexion which was otherwise relatively makeup free – with only her lips coated in a dash of rosey pink lipstick, nothing more and nothing less. She allowed her twelve year old daughter Lila Grace, who has quite evidently learned a thing or two from her top model mom when it comes down to hitting the streets in style, to tag along and get a taste of what the life of VIP show business is all about.

Needless to say, the motion picture’s VIP screening could not have been complete without the presence of American actress Elizabeth Banks, who made her grand debut as a feature film director with Pitch Perfect 2. The forty-one year old Hollywood star hit yellow carpet donned in an exquisite see through creation by Elie Saab. Taken from the Lebanese fashion designer’s Autumn / Winter 2015 offering, the mostly black dress hugged Banks at the waist with a thin, steel blue leather belt and was embellished with leafy blue and green embroidery all throughout. It also featured a number of sheer segments, one of which, at the skirt, gave a glimpse of the actress turned director’s long lower limbs. She finished off the look with a set of strappy black sandal pumps and a case-y metallic gold and blue clutch purse, while her golden blonde tresses were styled up in to a loose, side-parted pony tail.
