Burberry releases Lunar New Year 2026 collection with campaign Celebrating togetherness

British luxury fashion house Burberry has unveiled its Lunar New Year 2026 collection with a campaign celebrating togetherness.

Titled ‘Burberry Year of the Horse’, the collection celebrates the upcoming Year of the Horse, a significant motif for Burberry, it represents protection, innovation and the brand’s forward-looking spirit. The Knight is playfully reinterpreted as a watercolor and ink sketch, brought to life through intricate techniques such as vibrant metallic embroidery, cross-stitch and appliqued badges.

The capsule is a contemporary expression of timeless style, grounded in red, a symbol of luck and prosperity in Chinese culture. Inspired by the zodiac symbol’s representation of energy, freedom, and confidence, it fuses American style with Asian tradition and culture

Highlights of the Burberry Lunar New Year 2026 Collection:

– Outerwear such as the Berryhill car coat and Floriston quilted jacket in iridescent nylon
– Scarves and Daywear in an exclusive new red Burberry Check
– Soft accessories, bags and small leather goods detailed with the seasonal Knight

The collection is brought to life with a campaign photographed by Anton Gottlob and directed by AJ Duan, starring actors and brand ambassadors Chen Kun, Tang Wei, Wu Lei and Zhang Jingyi. Amid the hum of the streets of Shanghai, the film captures the poetry of movement in the city’s rush hour as the four characters race towards a reunion.

In promotion of the collection Burberry has partnered with esteemed British hand painted wallpaper brand de Gournay on window designs throughout its stores in China and Asia Pacific. Celebrating the craft and texture of Xuan paper (the traditional Chinese paper used for calligraphy and painting), the paper becomes a canvas for painterly expression and a reflection of artistry and heritage, by Chinese artist Liao Wenjun.

The Burberry Lunar New Year 2026 collection is available now in Burberry stores, and online on Burberry.com. Check out the campaign images here.
