Lauren Hutton, 73, fronts Calvin Klein’s New Underwear Campaign

Lauren Hutton Calvin Klein Spring 2017 Campaign

While beauty has no age limit, in the world of underwear models that’s hardly true.

For its Spring 2017 campaign, Calvin Klein has chosen to show that there is no age limit for underwear models. The label tapped a host of models aged 18 to 73, notably modelling legend Lauren Hutton who appeared on Vogue’s cover 28 times. Hutton joins a slew of inspiring women including Kirsten Dunst, Rashida Jones, Maya Thurman-Hawke, Nathalie Love, Laura Harrier, and Anna Sui’s niece, Chase Sui Wonders who all appear in the grainy black and white video.

Directed and photographed by Sofia Coppola, Hutton poses in a sheer bra and unbuttoned blouse laying on an unmade bed. The supermodel also appears in a video spot sharing a personal story of a corny pick-up line that actually worked on her.

Together, the mini ad spots and the campaign video are a celebration of age, regardless of number. For Hutton, it is a comeback who walked arm in arm with Gigi Hadid on Bottega Veneta’s runway last September and starred in the Italian house’s campaign celebrating its 50th anniversary. She recently appeared alongside Irina Shayk, Dree Hemingway, and Kendall Jenner in an editorial for LOVE magazine.

Calvin Klein’s latest campaign follows on from its recent men’s underwear campaign which starred the cast of the Academy Award winning Moonlight.
