Lanvin names Marco Pozzo CEO and Management Board Chairman of Wolford
Global luxury fashion conglomerate Lanvin Group has announced the appointment of Marco Pozz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Management Board of its luxury hosiery brand Wolford AG effective March 1, 2026.
He has been a member of the Management Board of Wolford AG since July 7, 2025 and previously served as Deputy CEO. His promotion reflects the Group’s recognition of his performance and its confidence in his continued leadership in advancing key restructuring measures and initiatives aimed at strengthening customer confidence and supporting the implementation of the strategic priorities of Wolford AG.
Pozzo has a proven track record across the luxury, design, and consumer goods sectors spanning Retail, Wholesale, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing and E-Business. An MBA Executive from Kellogg School of Management (Chicago) and HKUST (Hong Kong), he started his career at Ermenegildo Zegna progressing from Business Controller to Managing Director of Zegna Mexico, then COO for Greater China, and later Global Retail Operations Director at Zegna HQ in Milan.
From 2015 to 2020, he served as CEO of Alessi, leading the company to achieve B-Corp certification. Thereafter, in 2020, he founded a consultancy advising private equity funds and entrepreneurs on internationalization and acquisition strategies. Most recently, he served as CEO of Italian Creation Group FontanaArte and Driade, where he successfully repositioned the brands and led a strategic turnaround.
