The Wella Company names Krista McDonough Kubida as Chief Legal Officer
German-founded Swiss-American innovative global beauty leader The Wella Company has announced the appointment of Krista McDonough Kubida as its new Chief Legal Officer.
Serving as a key member of the Wella Leadership Team, under the leadership of new CEO Calvin McDonald her apointment strengthens the company’s Leadership Bench Across Governance and Strategy.
Kubida transitions from her role as Chief Legal and Sustainability Officer at the NYSE-listed luxury powerhouse Capri Holdings Limited. During her 15-year career there, she was a key architect of the group’s global growth across retail and digital channels for world-renowned brands like Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo.
She originally honed her expertise in the legal sector at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP where she served as a corporate and securities attorney, navigating high-stakes transactions and advisory matters for both private equity firms and public corporations.
