Nadja Auermann – “I’m innocent”

Blond supermodel Nadja Auermann is best known throughout the world for her record breaking long legs, which are 114cm (45”) long. She started her modeling career in her teenage years, when her older sister encouraged her to think about modeling in order to cash in on being so unusually tall and thin for a 13-year old.
In 1990, Nadja arrived in Paris and had her first modeling jobs. She soon became a top-class model and her earnings went up. The German stunner modeled for a raft of top designer names including Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Prada.

The retired supermodel Nadja Auermann is once again in the focus of flash lights. She is being awaited by photographers, but this time not on the catwalk, but on the sober response on the third floor of the Criminal Court in Berlin-Moabit. She had little make-up and was dressed casually in white blouse, black leggings and ballet shoes.

Nevertheless, the German beauty has appeared in court in Berlin on charges of tax evasion in a period from 1999 to 2002. It is believed that she and her ex-husband, soap actor Wolfram Grandezka, who is also on trial, deprived € 272,000 to the German tax authorities by giving a false residence. Apparently she was living in Monaco, but in reality in an old villa in Berlin-Köpenick – according to the tax investigators and prosecutors.

She told the court she had not moved to Germany until 2002 and so did not owe the tax there.
When she was asked why she decided to move that year, the model apparently broke down. Her lawyer said it was because she wanted to be with her dying mother.
