Amber Le Bon In Student’s Pick collection


The 20th anniversary of the Graduate Fashion Week will be celebrated on Wednesday at the Earls court. The Gala event is one of the biggest fashion events in the fashion calendar and is graced by big names in the fashion industry. This event was the platform used by Galliano, Christopher Bailey, Stella McCartney and Hussein Chalayan to launch their careers.

The graduate fashion week is used by the top fashion houses that are looking to sign new talents to work with them.

Model Amber Le Bon, the daughter of Rock star Simon and supermodel Yasmin Le Bon was photographed modeling the pick of student’s collections.

The GFW show has always attracted big names and this year’s show is not an exception. The most notable people who have confirmed their attendance are Sophie Ellis Baxter and Laura Bailey.

Mulberry, Burberry and Vivienne Westwood have always sent their representatives in all the previous events and they are expected to send them for this year’s event. Other big names which are yet to confirm their attendance are also expected at the event.

This year’s show sponsor will be George At Asda. He has promised to offer jobs to 62 graduates in design, buying, Merchandising, Marketing and International jobs.

George’s spokesperson was quoted saying that George was passionate about fashion and he was also interested in educating young talent and the next generation of creativity.

‘We will be helping to nurture new talent by championing the many routes and careers available in this fantastic industry and also encouraging the students to consider the possibilities of working for a big brand like George,” added the spokesman.

He also added that they were happy at George to help the emerging feature careers. The managing director Mr. Andrew Moore said that the FGW is a dynamic event that is important in championing the future talent of the fashion industry.

“Young people are the lifeblood of the industry and crucial to our future success.”
