Models’ run for the top starts in NYFW!

Fashion weeks are stressful for both designers and models. The first need to make their collections look their best, so everything must be perfect: fitting, light, make-up, timing and models. Specialy models. They need “The girl” who best represents their concept to front face their show. Therefore, models find theirselfs competing against theis peers for the best shows. And it’s also seen as competition for modeling agencies, who want “the girl” to be theirs.
Last runway season (Spring/Summer 2012) it was Daga Ziober who walked the most shows. The number went further than 60.
This season, New York Fashion Week is starting out the all mighty fashion capitals (New York, London, Milan and Paris) cycle of trend setting shows for Fall/Winter 2012/13. And the models’ “Showmeter” is counting again.
So far, it is the British model Cara Delevingne, the face of Burberry, who is leading the race. In the first two days of NYFW, Cara has already showcased Jason Wu’s oriental inspired designs and Rag & Bone’s belted knits. Will she win?
