Burberry introduces Festival Collection celebrating British Festival Culture
British luxury fashion house Burberry has unveiled a ‘Festival Collection’ inspired by British Music Festivals and UK’s vibrant Festival Culture.
Unveiled during London Fashion Week, the collection is made up of heritage-inspired designs and contemporary styles for festival goers ranging from Outerwear, and Clothing, to Footwear and Accessories. Blending 90s nostalgia with modern, weather-ready functionality, it mirrors the attitudes and dress codes of the British festival scene with Burberry as an essential look and means of creative expression.
Key looks from the collection include:
Outerwear-
Packable Capes and Hooded Jackets in Burberry Check and solid colors, Harrington Jackets made from cotton, and Washed-Satin Trenches. Limited-Edition Parka crafted from nylon or coated cotton gabardine, embodying ’90s Britpop style. This piece is a reissue of the Spring/Summer 2018 parka designed by Christopher Bailey worn by Liam Gallagher.
Clothing-
Oversized, unbuttoned Check Shirts and T-Shirts and baggy T-shirts, denim, jersey, and argyle knitwear, Tank Tops, Polo Shirts, and Bikinis featuring the Burberry Check in vibrant, festival-appropriate designs, Mini Kilts styled with leather jackets and fleeces.
