Guinevere’s favourites

The 34-year-old model Guinevere Van Seenus, born in Brooklin and daughter of a Dutch couple, is currently living in LA in the company of her dog Binkerton. Her porcelain skin made her a muse of many, designers and artits, from the 1990’s to this moment. Miu Miu resort was her latest big campaign and now she’s revealing some of her favorite things.

Most memorable outfit: “I was obsessed with a pink leotard when I was six years old. Apparently it was suitable for any occasion, or so I thought. I wore it for everything. I took ballet and gymnastics, but that was later”.

Underwear: “Eres”.

Trainers: “Converse. I own three pairs”.

Hotel: “A ryokan on the west coast of Japan and the Pavilion de la Reine in Paris”.

Restaurant: “Lou’s on Vine Street in Los Angeles where I get the quail and the scallops, and ShorelineGrill in Santa Barbara where I love having a bucket of mussels or salmon salad”.

Book: “Right now I am rereading the Game of Thrones books by George R R Martin. I love fantasy, educational, self-help and health books”.

Hobbies: “I love making things with my hands – jewellery, painting, drawing, sewing, knitting, photography, pottery. I keep thinking I need to pare down my hobbies, but I don’t know which one to give up”.

In my handbag: “My three staples are Laura Mercier secret camouflage, Purol lip balm and Weleda hand lotion. I can’t live without earplugs either. They keep me sane. I wear Dr Hauschka mascara and Nars lipstick – I’m really into their deep reds right now. I use Epicuren moisturiser and several of the PhytoCeutical serums”

Guilty Pleasure: “Red wine, dark chocolate and sleep”.

Perfect evening: “At home with my dog curled up in front of the television, working on my jewellery”.
