Naomi Campbell reflects on her past

Some things you can’t take back and this is one of those times for supermodel Naomi Campbell. Some call her “diva” and perhaps she has earned that title. But speaking to Elle magazine, Naomi spoke up about her role in assaulting her former maid with a Blackberry. She said, “I’m never gonna get away from it. It’s part of my history.” And she went on to say that she hoped that “The Face” a new reality series about to air on Oxygen network will give her a new start. She plays the part of a model mentor along with co-hosts Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha.
Now, if she was hoping for a peaceful beginning, it didn’t start out that way. It was rumored that the three co-hosts were not getting along. Is that surprising? But it does help to up the ratings and if that’s the case then we’re in for a hit show. Oxygen’s senior vice-president Rod Aissa thinks that people will see a more subdued Naomi. “The public will see the Naomi that her friends know. That doesn’t come across in a picture, but it does come across on television.” And to show that she does have a caring side Naomi added, “I care for my girls on the show. Every single one of them.”

February is going to be interesting, that’s when the new show airs on Oxygen. Will we see a new more mature and sweet-tempered side of Naomi or more appropriately, here’s the question. Can a leopard change its spots?
