Kate Upton is a glamour puss in Super Bowl ad

One of the most famous Sports Illustrated models, Kate Upton was all glamour as she did away with the cutoffs from her first Mercedes-Benz ad which hyped up her car wash techniques but for the second ad, she donned a white glam gown which showed off lots of cleavage and tried using her seductive skills to get an ordinary man to sell his soul to the devil.

Believe it or not, the clip which runs for about five seconds has a storyline attached to it. Sebastian Beacon plays the role of the ordinary man who dreams of becoming a rich and famous playboy while William Dafoe plays the perfect devilish character who trys to woo him into selling his soul for a car, none other than a Mercedes of course. Here’s where amply endowed Kate steps in. She appears on the red carpet channeling Marilyn Monroe and pulls poor Beacon close to her and he’s helpless folks. Who can go up against those two famous arguments and not miss a heartbeat? What happens next? Coming back to the ad, Sebastian finds himself on the dance floor where he enjoys moving to the beat with Usher and then is whisked away to Las Vegas with a carload of girls, makes super stardom as he appears on loads of magazine covers, drives the Indie 500 and comes back to earth or rather from hell before deciding that it’s better to pay for the Mercedes then to sell his soul to the devil. Good choice Sebastian.

The first Mercedes-Benz ad has come under fire and the Parents Television Council told MailOnline that the ad was about sexual objectification. Their exact words were, “This ad (reinforces) for million of wives, daughters and sisters across the country that you use your sex appeal to get what you want. If anything, this ad proves that we’ve regressed rather than progressed over the last few years.”

C’mon folks, advertising and sexy ads go hand in hand. We’ve never seen one without the other, it has worked in the past and it’s going to work in the future. We can’t see Sebastian selling his soul for just a Mercedes-Benz no matter how great the car looks but throw in Kate Upton to sweeten the pot and you might just have something there. “Sex sells” and unfortunately that’s the honest truth.
