Kate Upton Is Engaged
Kate Upton is off the market officially.
The actress and model announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Justin Verlander by debuting a diamond engagement ring on the red carpet on Monday night at the Met Gala.
‘I’m really excited, he asked me right before season started so we’ve been keeping it on the down low for quite a while,’ she told E! News, ‘so I’m excited to finally be able to share it with the world!’
When asked when the wedding was likely to take place, 23-year-old Sports Illustrated model added that she isn’t in a rush to get to the altar, ‘We are just enjoying the engagement period,’ she said.
Upton and Verlander met while shooting a video game commercial in February 2012 and have been dating for more than three years.
