Marc Jacobs pop-up shop to accept tweets instead of money

During the upcoming New York Autumn/Winter 2014 fashion week, Marc Jacobs will open a one-of-a-kind pop-up store in the SoHo district of Lower Manhattan. Instead of money, the innovative boutique will only accept social media posts hashtagged #MJDaisyChain as forms of payment for the attainable fashion goods.

Depending on the content amount, these Twitter and Instagram messages will enable consumers and fashion week-goers to purchase fragrances and accessories by the brand, beginning from the 7th through the 9th of February, 2014, and will be open from the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Furthermore, the tweetshop will also feature a Daisy by Marc Jacobs photo booth and provide shop-goers with food and drinks, as well as a lounge with free Wi-Fi internet, a necessary tool to help fashion week attendees take a break in between shows and simultaneously tweet away.
