Models party up at pre Met Gala bash

The 2014 Met Gala will be hosted tonight (May 5th), but a pre celebration leading up to the annual fundraising event was held this past weekend at The Jane Hotel in the West Village neighborhood of New York City.

Widely regarded as one of the most exclusive social events in New York, the Met Ball’s pre bash welcomed stunning mannequins such as Gisele Bundchen, Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr, Joan Smalls and Toni Garrn, among others, on Saturday night.

Fashion and film stars mingled at the pre-party of the event which benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Bundchen was seen cuddling up to her NFL quarterback-husband Tom Brady and noted fashion photographer Mario Testino while rocking a glittering gold mini dress. The thirty-three year-old mother-of-two was also spotted partying with fellow model Toni Garrn, who happens to be dating Gisele’s ex boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, twenty-one year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss and American songstress Taylor Swift were inseparable as they showed off their flourishing friendship while embracing one another. The statuesque model was donned in a midriff-flaunting navy two-piece outfit, while her musician buddy, who performed at last year’s Victoria’s Secret Fasion Show, opted for a layered orange dress.
