Gisele Bundchen remains the top earning supermodel in the world

Forbes recently released their annual list of most powerful celebrities, and for the seventh consecutive year, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen continues her reign as the highest paid mannequin in the world.

The thirty-three year-old beauty, who had the honor of unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy on behalf of Louis Vuitton at the Maracana stadium before kicking off the big final on Sunday, reportedly rounded up a whopping $47 million during the last twelve months, which means she made an average of $128 thousand per day.

Nonetheless, Bundchen has expressed that such lists should be taken with grain of salt. “It’s sad, because the people who write these things don’t have my bank account details,” she said earlier this year after apparently being audited by the IRS because of Forbes.

“I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say,” added the statuesque mother-of-two. “Truthfully, whether I’m on this list or not doesn’t interest me.”
