Gisele Bundchen does demure at UNEP Champions of the Earth event

Gisele Bundchen is not only known for her money-making fashion career, but also for being involved in environmental awareness activities, and the Brazilian supermodel made a stylish appearance at an award ceremony on Wednesday night (November 19) in Washington, D.C.

The thirty-four year-old beauty, who was named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) back in 2009, took to the Smithsonian American Art Museum for this year’s Champions of the Earth Award Ceremony donned in a simple yet elegant grey tweed frock which featured a structured collar and highlighted her statuesque model frame.

Serving as a special guest at the gathering in which she also presented an award, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel kept her makeup relatively minimal and wore her wavy blonde locks down, completing her demure look with a set of pointy-toed black pumps.

“Excited to be here in Washington. The Champions of the earth inspire me and I’m grateful to be part of tonight’s program. Thank you @unenvironment!,” said Bundchen via her official Instagram account next to a photo showing her addressing the audience from the podium at the event.
