Candice Swanepoel creates charity denim collection

Candice Swanepoel‘s captivating good-looks have positioned her as one of the highest-earning mannequins on earth, and the South African supermodel is now using her world-class influence for the better good with a fundraising denim collection.

The twenty-six year-old bombshell has joined forces with MOTHER Denim to combine charity and fashion by producing a special assortment of clothing to help support mothers2mothers, an international nonprofit organization based in her home country which is specialized in the prevention of HIV and AIDS-positive mothers across sub-Saharan Africa from transmitting the disease to their children.

And who better to showcase the charity collection than the Victoria’s Secret Angel and designer herself? Photographed by noted Australian lensman Russell James, Swanepoel is seen showing off her supermodel prowess for a good cause while rocking various pieces from the Candice Swanepoel + MOTHER range which features statement tops and sweatshirts, cut-off shorts and knee-shredded skinny jeans.

“A big thank you to Candice Swanepoel and Mother Denim for their generous support and this wonderful opportunity,” a mothers2mothers spokesperson said of the cause. “Also, a big thank you to all who purchase pieces from this gorgeous collection for helping us to raise the funds we need to eliminate HIV/AIDS in children and keep their mothers alive.”

“As a child of South Africa herself, Candice understands the importance of creating an HIV-free generation and improving the health and wellbeing of HIV-positive mothers,” they continued, adding that it will empower pregant disease-bearers with lifesaving knowledge and encourage them to seek early medical care. “We hope everyone will support their efforts, and in doing so, save lives.”
