Jourdan Dunn turns heads in slinky frock at Maybelline New York event

Jourdan Dunn is one of those women whose imposing presence can most certainly lure the eyes of nearly each and everyone around her without really much effort, if any at all. And the British supermodel confirmed she can make turning a plenitude of heads be nothing more and nothing less than mere child’s play when she showed up at an exclusive rooftop bash thrown by Maybelline New York on the night of Monday (the sixteenth of February).

Spotted hitting the ultra sleek luxury Hotel on Rivington in downtown Manhattan, the twenty-four year old stunner was definitely a sight to be seen upon her arrival to party the night away in style as the week came to a kick off. The American cosmetics giant hosted the high rise gathering at the aforementioned establishment’s premier rooftop and special event penthouse in order to celebrate the Big Apple’s Autumn/Winter 2015 ready to wear fashion week, which is currently taking place as we speak.

New York Fashion Week (which began on the twelfth of February and will conclude on the nineteenth of the same month) is one of the fashion industry’s ‘elite four’ affairs of its kind – the other three being the subsequent London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. Thus, it is not in the least a surprise to see Dunn, whose striking good looks had much to do with helping her become one of the newest faces of Maybelline New York last year, take part in such big style events and appearances around the world.

With her highlighted shoulder bob-style ombre hair falling straight downward from a division a the center, the eye catching mother of one turned up at the New York City reception donned in a rosy copper-hued number with long sleeves, that featured a vertical ribbing effect, a plunging boat neckline and a thigh high split that showed off the results of how almost a decade of experience sashaying down catwalk spectacles has payed off in helping her keep her long lower limbs in tip top shape.

Dunn, whose chic footwear consisted of a sexy black pair of suede stiletto boots that came just above the knees, made ever so sure to enhance her natural beauty with a smooth smokey eye makeup and a tinge of sultry red lipstick, most likely using cosmetics by the company that was in charge of presenting the event that evening; Maybelline New York. The only accessory she could be seen with was a black leather shoulder purse that had a golden chain for a strap.

Posing against a leafy green wall, the statuesque Londoner was evidently not the only world class mannequin to make her beauteous presence known at the glitzy venue for the special occasion. Joining forces with Dunn under the spotlight were other no less head turning fellow Maybelline New York spokesmodels such as Dutch dazzler Marloes Horst and American charmers Emily DiDonato and Kemp Muhl, as well as the United States-based makeup powerhouse’s most recent recruit, Gigi Hadid.

twenty-five year old Horst opted for a silky grape purple blazer with three quarters-length sleeves over a two piece all black ensemble which was made up of a cropped top that put her toned midriff on display, and some relatively loose, high waisted trousers that skimmed the floor and only barely exposed the pointy tipped pumps that she wore in the same color. On the other hand, twenty-three year old DiDonato was dressed in a billowing azure blue button-up shirt which was tucked into a skin tight pair of black leather pants that led straight down to a set of matching high heeled ankle boots.

Meanwhile, twenty-seven year old Muhl went for a more laid back getup consisting of a printed white t-shirt with orange trim, and a skinny pair of denim blue jeans that were partly hidden at the base by a distressed set of very high top sneakers. As for Hadid, the nineteen year old model of the moment kept it cozy under a patterned black and grey turtleneck sweatshirt and some sporty black trousers which had a hint of contrasting white lines trailing down the sides, as well as a ribbon motif at the belt. She completed the stylish outfit with a set of black leather high heeled shoes.
