Lima, Kroes, Poly and Smalls turn action stars for new H&M campaign

As some of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry, it is not at all uncommon to see Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly and Joan Smalls sashaying as a group up and down the wing-filled runway spectacles held annually by the American lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret. And the eye catching top models have once again joined forces with the objective of getting pulses racing as they flaunt their phenomenal scantily clad figures in skimpy swimwear, this time for the Swedish based multinational department store company H&M.

The spring season may have began just a little more than a month ago, but the supermodel foursome gear up and take us fast forward into the summer in the new campaign for H&M. On Wednesday (the twenty-ninth day of this month), the retail clothing powerhouse released an action-packed video advertisement titled “Summer Starts Now!” via their YouTube channel which sees the four fashion stars – who are known in large part for their work for Victoria’s Secret – temporarily put away their wings in order to become Bond Girl-like secret agents.

The short clip, which is nearly two minutes in length, kicks off with the Russian eye catcher Natasha Poly as she zooms her way through the streets of London while donned from head to toe in an all black getup which complements the motor cycle she is riding. The edgy outfit worn by the twenty-nine year old beauty consists of a leather jacket, a pair of super skinny jeans, some high-heeled leather booties, a set of matching gloves, and a biker’s helmet and goggles.

A few seconds later, the video switches to the Puerto Rican stunner Joan Smalls, who is seen taking part in a fashion photo shoot inside a warehouse which has her striking fierce poses as she showcases a chic black ensemble that puts her her sculpted midriff and her equally well toned extremities on display. The twenty-six year old knock-out’s look is made up of a tube bra, a pair of high waisted briefs, some lower limb-lengthening pumps, and some flowy waist and neck pieces made from lace, with her jewelry accessories including a set of silver chime drop earrings.

Subsequently, a bird’s-eye camera view sees a small inflatable motor boat in the middle of the turquoise waters of an unknown ocean, where the thirty-three year old Brazilian bombshell Adriana Lima is found snorkeling in a black scuba wetsuit and flippers. Moments later, the thirty year old Dutch dazzler Doutzen Kroes is shown keeping in top top shape while in the middle of a yoga class, with her mannequin figure appropriately garbed in some skin-tight, high-waited black yoga trousers and a matching fitness top that shows off her flat abdominal area.


The four campaign stars are then interrupted by a rather mysterious alert message, which has them all dropping everything on the spot and heading out to the exotic Caribbean island getaway of Antigua as soon as receiving it. Lima is seen making waves aboard her speed boat, Kroes is shown skydiving off of an air plane, Poly is displayed swerving her way through on her motor bike, while Smalls is spotted rolling across some bumpy rugged roads embarked on a convertible jeep vehicle.


Upon arriving not too long apart from one another at the destination to which they were summoned, the head turning supermodels are seen grouping up just at the edge of the beach and immediately get down to business by advertising the stunning beachwear offerings by H&M for the summer 2015 season, which features an array of styles including frilled, one-shoulder tops, peplum and strappy bottoms, one-piece cut outs, animal and floral print ensembles, as well as some flowy bohemian-inspired cover-ups and sun hats. The popular song “Sun is Shining,” by Swedish DJ Axwell featuring his countryman Ingrosso, can be heard in the background as the jaw dropping beauties frolick in the crystal clear waters of Antigua after completing their adventurously successful mission.
