Ruby Rose Is GQ Australia’s Woman Of The Year

arrives ahead of the 2015 GQ Men Of The Year Awards on November 10, 2015 in Sydney, Australia.

Ruby Rose was awarded the 2015 Woman of the Year by GQ Australia.

The Model, DJ, and actor who shot to fame after landing the role of inmate Stella in the Netflix series ‘Orange is the New Black’ picked up her remarkable prize at a ceremony held at Merivale’s Ivy Ballroom, in Sydney.

Rose who moved to America to become an actress, hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan last month alongside Ed Sheeran. She accepted her award with mixed-emotions saying, “There are so many talented people who worked really hard within Australia, they work their butt off and they don’t get the credit that they deserve and they don’t get the awards that they should get, and they don’t get the [magazine] covers they deserve because we wait as a country, we wait for them to make it big overseas and I don’t necessarily agree with that.”
