Gemma Ward is the cover Star of Vogue Australia’s January 2016 issue.

Following her last appearance in December 2014, the 28-year-old once again graces the cover of the fashion glossy. Photographed by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Vogue fashion director Christine Centenera, The dreamy cover features Ward in delicate nude and lilac tones as she sports a haute couture dress from the house of Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci.

In her interview with Vogue Australia editor Zara Wong, Ward discusses growing up. She quit the modelling world in 2008 at the peak of her career, following the death of ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger. In 2013 she gave birth to her daughter Naia, pursued an acting career and opted for a quieter life with her partner, David Letts. In the spring of 2014, she returned with a much-publicized Walk for the Prada show at the Milan Fashion Week.
