Newsmaker Of The Week: Ciara
Our newsmaker this week is Ciara.
The 30-year-old Grammy-winning artist landed a modeling deal with famed modeling agency IMG Models.
No stranger to the world of fashion, Ciara has been represented by William Morris Endeavor sister agency WME for music and other areas. IMG will now handle beauty, fashion, and modeling deals, allowing her to take her modelling endeavors to the next level.
Ciara who has sold more than 23 million records has been a fashion fixture on runways and magazines. She has appeared on the covers of L’Uomo Vogue, Shape etc. She’s also appeared in multiple films and television shows, most recently the first season of NBC’s celebrity variety show I Can Do That!.
She has fronted campaigns for Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy, Coach, and Ralph Lauren in the past. She was also Topshop’s first U.S. brand ambassador.
