Karen Elson fronts Valentino’s fall/winter 2016 campaign
Italian fashion label Valentino has tapped Karen Elson for its
Julia Nobis, Jamie Bochert and Katlin Aas fall/winter 2016 campaign.
Lensed by star photographer Steven Meisel in New York, the campaign also features Julia Nobis, Jamie Bochert and Katlin Aas. Inspired by the connection between the worlds of ballet and high fashion, the four models appear as dancers dressed in beige ensembles of knitwear, long sweeping coats and tutu inspired skirts against a dark background.
On a set composed of clean-lined chairs, a staircase, ramps and gymnastic rings, they are accompanied by several male models as they perform graceful and complex dance movements.
To accompany the campaign, a short video of the filming process was also released that allows fans to see the full range of motion that led to the images.
