Alexa Chung returns as the face of AG Jeans Spring 2017 advertising campaign.

The model who has been tied to the Californian brand since her successful 2015 design collaboration, was lensed by Karim Sadli of Art + Commerce. In a series of images, Chung strikes a pose at various locations throughout Paris channelling her signature brand of cool, vintage ’60s and ’70s-inspired style.

In addition to the chic campaign images, Chung also appears in a three-minute campaign film, titled “When in Paris” which was directed by AG’s director of global communications, Jonathon Crocker. In the clip, Chung proves her acting talent and her British humor during a dinner in Paris at which she pokes fun at her lack of French roots and linguistics. The film proves that language misunderstandings can also be sympathizers.

AG Denims latest collection was inspired by the French New Wave and Jean-Luc Godard’s 1960 film classic ‘A bout de souffle’. No wonder that Paris served as a setting for the short film.

‘With the concept for the collection being ‘La Nouvelle Vague,’ we looked to the most iconic and influential film during that period, Breathless, for inspiration,’ said Johnathan Crocker. ‘From the character’s wardrobe, to the environment and setting of the film, to the effortless Parisian sensibility of that time, Jean Luc’s visual style and innovative approach to film-making, provided our team with endless amounts of inspiration.’

The new Alexa Chung x AG Denim collection is available now.
