After three years as creative director for French fashion house Nina Ricci, Guillaume Henry announced yesterday that he would be stepping down from the role.

Prior to his Autumn / Winter 2018 collection, there were rumors that he would leave the brand, but yesterday the fashion house confirmed his departure. Henry was the successor of Peter Copping in 2015, who left for Oscar de la Renta at the time. His March 2 show at Paris Fashion Week was his last.

Henry worked as artistic director of French fashion house Carven and as a designer for Paule Ka. His catwalk shows were known for their theatrical themes, as was seen in his Spring / Summer 2018 circus-themed show.

Nina Ricci has not yet named a successor but has communicated that the coming collections will be designed by its in-house team.
