Model of the Week: Baylee Soles

Baylee Soles

Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Last week, we profiled Polish beauty Eliza Ryszewska and this week we’re turning our attention to Baylee Soles.

First discovered in Hopkins, South Carolina, where she grew up, Baylee is one half of a true pair of model twins taking the fashion world by storm. Together with her sister Kelsey, the sibling duo (collectively known as The Soles Sisters) have scored runway shows with Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, and Vivienne Westwood as well as campaigns with Lanvin and Calvin Klein. In recent times a wave of sister duos are dominating fashion but the Soles sisters wear their biology with great eclat. Aside from striking symmetry is their real sense of sisterhood. Inseparable both professionally and personally the fraternal twins are fashion’s fastest rising duo and are loved by the likes of all.

We caught up with Baylee to talk about her career so far, her mystical twin connection and plans for the future.

No, growing up that didn’t seem like an option. I was very short and didn’t get a growth spurt until I was 16. I probably wanted to be a chef.

The same as we are now- same-same but different.

With an intense career, how much do you get to spend with Kelsey these days? When did you last see each other?

Model success can sometimes feel quite lonely, right? Do you have any sister goals of working together?
Working together is the most fun and gets the most creative energy.

Your favorite memory of each other?
Our incredible fights.

What do you love most about Kelsey? And your biggest pet peeve about her? Do you have a nickname for Kelsey?
