Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up?
No! When I was young, I wanted to become an air traffic controller because I was into maths and traveling.

How were you scouted?
I sent pictures to my German agency via the internet. I’ve always been quite tall and skinny and that’s why a lot of people were telling me to apply. At first, I was hesitant but after a few months, I decided to give it a try.

How would you describe yourself as a model in three words?
Single-minded, forthright and natural

Your first modeling job?
It was quite an experience because I had to fly directly from my family vacation (4 different flights in less than 12 hours), my luggage got lost and it was my first time flying alone. Nevertheless, the 2-day-job for ‘Pieces’ was a lot of fun and the team was super nice!

What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
Getting to know and to work with so many individual people and living in different countries all over the world.

What’s been your biggest OMG moment to date?
Expecting to do a regular e-com shoot for Topshop and ending up shooting the Topshop Denim Campaign with Oliver Hadlee Pearch!

What is your dream shoot/campaign?
A week in the Rocky Mountains shooting a winter campaign whilst skiing and enjoying a luxury lodge.

Biggest lesson that modeling has taught you?
How to deal with criticism and to not take it too personally.

How do you stay in shape?
Depending on my work schedule, I work out 3-5 times a week. My workouts include everything from high-intensity training like TaeBo to slow and deep Yoga sessions. I’m vegetarian for more than 5 years now and I really try to focus on plant-based and natural food.

What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you?
In my opinion, fashion is a form of art. It’s a very creative industry and offers a great way to express yourself. But we always have to keep in mind that the fashion industry is far from perfect and still has a lot of flaws like child labor and discrimination.

If you had to be head to toe in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I love extraordinary brands like ‘Saint Laurent’ but I’d choose the brand ‘Closed’ which is more casual and offers really good jeans.

How would you describe your style?
In between boyish with men’s shirts and chucks and a more chic look with short skirts and turtleneck sweaters.

Denim or leather?
Denim, because you can never go wrong with a cool pair of jeans!

Heels or flats?
Flats during the day, heels in the evening.

Vintage or contemporary fashion?
A mix of both is my favorite.

What is your guilty pleasure?
I have absolutely no portion control when it comes to nut butter or cake dough!

What’s been your most indulgent purchase since you became a model?
A new computer (that I need to organize the results from my shoots ;))

If you were an emoji, which would you be and why?
(LION EMOJI)- a strong, proud and energetic fighter, my zodiac sign and my NYC agency is called ‘The Lions’

When you’re not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
Reading a good book with a cup of tea is something I always enjoy. When I’m at home in Germany, I love to go for a walk with my dog. Furthermore, I’m meeting with my friends and spending some quality time with my family.

What are you working on now and what do you dream of happening in the future?
I’m currently on my way to New York to work there for a couple of weeks. In the next year, I’d love to (successfully) work in Paris or London.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I have absolutely no clue, but my main goal is to be completely happy and surrounded by the people I love!
