Clarins announces Arizona Muse as its first-ever CSR Advocate
French multinational cosmetics company Clarins has announced the appointment of international model and earth activist, Arizona Muse as its first-ever Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Advocate.
According to the company the partnership is more than symbolic and is a natural alignment of shared convictions. Muse is a leading advocate for reshaping the way industries think about their environmental responsibilities, through her work as the founder of DIRT, a charity focused on regenerative agriculture. She brings a powerful voice to the causes the company holds hold dear: regenerative farming, soil health, and environmental stewardship.
‘This feels like the kind of partnership I dreamed up. Clarins understands that true sustainability has to be built into the heart of a business,’ Muse said in a statement.
In her new role Muse will spotlight Clarins, CSR commitments – from responsible sourcing and transparency through its T.R.U.S.T. platform, to its pioneering efforts in regenerative agriculture.
As part of our ongoing journey toward greater sustainability, Clarins aims to grow one-third of the plants used in its formulas on its own land, using farming methods that restore and nourish the soil by 2030.
