LVMH announces Jonathan Anderson as Creative Director of Dior
LVMH owned French Luxury Fashion house Dior has announced Northern Irish fashion designer Jonathan Anderson as Creative Director of women’s, men’s, and haute couture collections of the House.
The announcement comes just a few days after Dior officially confirmed Maria Grazia Chiuri’s exit as the Creative Director of its women’s haute couture, ready-to-wear, and accessories collections after nine years.
‘I am delighted to welcome Jonathan Anderson to lead the women’s and men’s creations of the House. I have followed his career with great interest since he joined the LVMH group over ten years ago. I am convinced that he will bring a creative and modern vision to our House, inspired by the fabulous story of Monsieur Dior and the codes he created. He will be supported by our teams and our incredible Ateliers who will bring his creativity to life,’ Delphine Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture stated in a press release.
‘Jonathan Anderson is one of the greatest creative talents of his generation. His incomparable artistic signature will be a crucial asset in writing the next chapter of the history of the House of Dior,’ Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH, added.

Anderson is known for his eponymous label JW Anderson, and having served as the creative director of Spanish luxury house Loewe which he left after 11 years on March 17 and was replaced by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. His appointment marks a major milestone for Dior in strengthening its global creative vision as he is the first Creative Director to work on all the women’s, men’s, and haute couture collections since Monsieur Dior.
Anderson will mark his Dior debut with Dior’s Men Summer 2026 collection at the Paris Fashion Week on June 27, 2025.
