UNIQLO Partners with The New York Public Library to Celebrate Community, Creativity, and Access

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO has launched a year-long partnership with The New York Public Library to Celebrate Community, Creativity, and Access.

The partnership which follows on the recent opening of UNIQLO’s Bryant Park, Williamsburg and Union Square stores aims to support NYPL’s cultural and youth-focused programs such as providing New Yorkers with free access to books, learning, and cultural programming. It reflects UNIQLO’s commitment to supporting the cultural spaces that bring people together-and to creating clothing, experiences, and connections that are truly made for all.

As part of the collaboration, UNIQLO will support NYPL’s beloved evening event series The Library After Hours. Hosted three times a year, at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building on Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, the program transforms the historic space with curated entertainment, food and drinks, and behind-the-scenes access to the library’s collections.

UNIQLO will also support The Library After Hours: Teen Takeover, held at NYPL’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL) in Midtown-an investment in programming designed specifically for young people across the city, creating space for creative exploration, skill building, and self-expression.
