Kering appoints Gianfranco D’Attis Chief Executive Officer of Alexander McQueen

French-based global luxury goods group Kering has announced the appointment of Gianfranco D’Attis as Chief Executive Officer of British luxury fashion house Alexander McQueen effective June 3rd, 2026.
In his new role D’Attis will lead the next stage of the House’s development, with a clear focus on strengthening brand clarity, elevating execution and improving financial performance. Alexander McQueen is a entering a new strategic repositioning designed to sharpen its market presence through a more disciplined and efficient operational framework built around focused collections, a rightsized retail network and a streamlined organization.
With over 25 years of global expertise in in brand development, retail excellence and client engagement across key markets, D’Attis is a seasoned force in the luxury industry. Most recently, as Chief Executive Officer of Prada, he elevated the house’s desirability and fueled growth through a sharp, client-first strategy. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at LVMH and Richemont in Asia, America and Europe, where he consistently turned operational transformation into commercial success.

D’Attis will be based in London and will report to Chief Executive Officer of Kering Luca de Meo.
