Seven supermodel ‘titans’ do seven covers for Interview Magazine’s fall fashion issue
They are the giants of the supermodel world and fall will see them coming together for a series of seven covers for Interview Magazine’s fall fashion issue. Take Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Amber Valletta, Stephanie Seymour and Daria Werbowy and put them together and what do you have? AMAZING, that’s what!
Fashion photographer duo, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have done a fantastic job of showcasing each model clothed and nude in a number of black and white showstopping images. The issue itself is dedicated to the business of modeling and the models talk about their careers as they moved through the decades. Kate Moss talks about the first time in Paris to walk for a John Galliano show. She says, “All the girls were lined up, and I remember (make-up artist) Stephanie Marais said to me, “Are you in the show?” I said, “Yeah.”….She’s like, “Oh my god, get her done quick.” (laughs) I was just sitting there all day. I’d been there since like 10 in the morning. They just didn’t take me for a model.” Well, as we know, Ms Moss has come a long ways since then.
