Ashley Graham Debuts Lingerie Line At NYFW
Plus sized model and advocate Ashley Graham continues to inspire and promote body positivity in the fashion industry.
The 27-year-old took NYFW by storm earlier this week as she took to the runway to introduce her first underwear collection in collaboration with plus size retailer Addition Elle. The model and clothing designer strutted the catwalk at the Kia STYLE360 pavilion in Manhattan along with several other “plus-size” models. Sporting matching sets of mulberry brown, shimmering blue there were babydolls, to sexy button-up corsets.
The show was broadcast internationally on Periscope with the associated hashtag #IAmSizeSexy trending worldwide on social media. During the show, viewers were encouraged to use the hashtag #IAmSizeSexy on social media. In an Instagram post Graham called the show an amazing experience adding, “All the girls looked amazing!!!!, Thank you to everyone who was involved behind stage as well!! We rocked it!!! #IAmSizeSexy”
The new collection titled ‘Black Orchid’ is expected to be available purchase next month at Addition Elle and Nordstrom in October.
