Miu Miu launches new Matalasse Collection with Campaign featuring Gigi Hadid

Italian women’s clothing brand Miu Miu has launched its 2026 Matelasse Leather Goods collection with a campaign featuring American supermodel and fashion icon Gigi Hadid.
Shot by Steven Meisel with creative direction by Miuccia Prada, the campaign follows Hadid in a quintessentially bourgeois apartment which she transforms from a conventional environment into a powerfully creative and vital space. Highlighting a blend of high-fashion and rebellious energy, Hadid’s a bold and emancipated character shines brightly with individuality and confidence.
Miu Miu’s new Leather Goods collection highlights the matelasse technique, a sophisticated process where soft nappa leather is layered over padding and secured with repeated stitching to create a high-relief, quilted texture. It comprises of handbags, wallets, and small leather goods of new seasonal variations in both sophisticated muted tones like cream as well as pop colors such as electric green, cobalt blue, and burnt orange.
