File this one under ‘weirdest story of the day.’ According to the UK’s Daily Star, Kate Moss is planning a gothic themed wedding to her rocker beau Jamie Hince this coming September.
Apparently the wedding dress will be a full-skirted purple or black gown trimmed with vintage rock ’n’ roll charms. Sounds more like a Marilyn Manson wedding than a supermodels.
The newspaper also claims that Moss has hired controversial artists Dinos and Jake Chapman to create centerpieces for the wedding. Their previous works have included themes of sex, death and disfigurement.
It’s too bad she’s not with Pete Doherty anymore. She could have had a crackhead theme wedding instead.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is to appear in a film by a French director dubbed “the queen of porn”.
She will play a jilted wife in Bad Love, the latest offering from the controversial film-maker Catherine Breillat.
“I’m not sure if I’ll be able to show as much naked skin as her other actresses, but we’ll see,” Campbell, 37, told Paris Match magazine.
“I don’t know if I’ll make a good actress, but I’ll do my best. I am no stranger to controversy.”
Breillat said of the model: “Her body is sublime, but it’s her face that interests me most. I ask all my actors to bare their souls to me and trust me completely, and she will be no exception.”
Bad Love will be based on Breillat’s own novel and spoken in a mixture of English and Chinese.
Campbell’s co-star will be Christopher Rocancourt, a convicted fraudster who conned the rich and famous out of millions by posing as a member of the Rockefeller dynasty. He has become something of a celebrity in France since his release from prison two years ago
Breillat has provoked outrage over the years with her X-rated films and cheerfully admits: “I am the pariah of French cinema. Some people refuse even to read my scripts. But it also makes me very happy because hatred is invigorating. All true artists are hated. Only conformists are ever adored.”
Her first film, Une Vraie Jeune Fille, was a controversial account of a 14-year-old girl’s sexual awakening. It was released in 1976 but immediately banned by French censors, re-emerging some 23 years later.
The 1999 film Romance, starring hardcore porn star Rocco Siffredi, shocked audiences with its graphic scenes of sex and violence.
This is not the first acting role for Campbell - she appeared in Spike Lee’s Girl 6 and has just filmed a cameo in the hit US television series Ugly Betty, playing “a loony who loves to shop”.

Leonardo Di Caprio’s other half, supermodel Bar Rafaeli, has come under fire from the political group Israeli Forum for the Promotion of Equal Share in the Burden, which is urging the 23-year-old to complete national service in her native Israel.
Its members are threatening to boycott Fox, the fashion chain to which Rafaeli has just signed in a $300,000 deal, if it does not write into her contract that she must join the army or volunteer in Israel’s National Service - or drop her altogether.
“We are not trying to make her life miserable,” Reuven Agassi, a member of the forum, told YNETNEWS.COM. “But celebrities are the country’s store-front window and when they express negativity towards enlisting in the army, it has its effect. I lecture at schools and students say, ‘Look at that singer or model who didn’t enlist and still succeeded.’ Our appeal to Fox says that we can’t provide economic benefits to people who have not served our country.”

Cindy Crawford fears she missed out on fun when she first made it as a catwalk stunner - because she was too straight-laced and sensible.
The supermodel insists she’s wilder now, as a married mum in her 40s, than she was when she became one of the biggest beauties on the planet in her 20s.
The former catwalk queen claims she was a geek during her teens and 20s, and missed out on the sex and drugs her model friends were indulging in.
Crawford says, “I regret that I wasn’t wilder. I was working and I was nervous. I was the one in the corner with the book, being responsible.”
But she’s not quite as serious and studious as she once was: “I can be wild now. I’ll sometimes dance on a table for my husband and his friends. But not naked, those days are gone.”

FRESH from her David Jones tour of duty Down Under, model of the moment Miranda Kerr helped launch lingerie megabrand Victoria’s Secret new fragrance Heavenly Kiss in Los Angeles yesterday.
Pretty in pink, the home-grown stunner gave away personalised autograph kisses from her very own kissing booth.
Her beau, Orlando Bloom, was nowhere in sight, but there’s no doubt it’s true love between the two.
From globe-trotting to grocery shopping, the hot couple jetted straight out of Sydney at the weekend and back to life in La La Land, hitting the Whole Foods supermarket in Hollywood.
Kerr stocked up on supplies, with Bloom relegated to trolley duties.

The fashion label Fox announced yesterday it would be collaborating with the Israeli Forum for the Promotion of Equal Share in the Burden, an anti-draft-dodging group. Fox made the announcement after meeting with representatives of the group, which threatened to lead a consumer boycott of the company because it employs models Bar Rafaeli and Michael Lewis, who did not serve in the army.
“We welcome the move of Bar Rafaeli and Fox following the meeting with the association. The business sector also understands that it simply does not pay to dodge the draft,” the forum’s strategic consultant, Itai Ben-Horin told Haaretz.
Fox told the press yesterday that it encourages enlistment into the Israel Defense Forces and opposes draft-dodging.
All its directors and owners had served, Fox also said. Bar Rafaeli said, “Following the meeting I suggested that from now I will collaborate with the forum on all my visits to Israel.”

With an estimated $35 million in earnings, Gisele Bundchen is still the world’s top-earning model, according to Forbes.com’s annual list.
In the last 12 months, Bundchen made more than double the $14 million earned by Heidi Klum, who came in second, according to Forbes.
Rounding out the top five are Kate Moss ($7.5 million), Adriana Lima ($7 million) and Doutzen Kroes ($6 million). The latter, a 23-year-old from Holland, was second-to-last on the list last year.
“I wish we had snapped her up a long time ago,” Edward Razek, who has been selecting models for Victoria’s Secret for a decade, told Forbes. The company gave Kroes a contract this year.
Victoria’s Secret made millionaires of two newcomers: Miranda Kerr and Selita Ebanks, ranked at Nos. 10 and 12, respectively.

Victoria’s Secret has introduced its new Dream Angels Demi bra Thursday at their Herald Square flagship store in New York City.
On hand to show the bra to the press was Victoria’s Secret Angel model Miranda Kerr. The bra, made with a special memory lining, responds to body heat which makes the cushioned cups hug every curve. It comes in sizes 32A - 38DD.
Miranda told AP Entertainment what it is like to be an Angel, along with some of the top supermodels today.
“There have been some wonderful supermodels that have worked for Victoria’s Secret. Like back in 98, there was Helena Christensen, and then there was Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum, and obviously now as well with like Adriana (Lima), she’s been there a long time and Gisele (Bundchen) has been there. And so to be part of that wonderful team of people and to be part of that history, I’m really honoured to be part of that as well,” Kerr said.
Also at the store unveiling is an exhibit marking the 10th Anniversary of the Victoria’s Secret Angels.
On display are costumes from their runway shows from 1998 to the present as well as other honorary items the Angels received over the years, including their star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Basically Victoria’s Secret is unveiling the past ten years of the Angels exhibit,” Kerr explained. “There are so many things from the Angel wings that Heidi Klum wore that are 12 feet long and there’s the key to the city of Los Angeles that was presented to us when we travelled to Los Angeles for the first time for the show.”
