Supermodel Kate Moss has put her glamorous ??45 million career aside for a night to try her hand at a more modest role - as Pete Doherty’s roadie.
Moss, who wore all black and towering Christian Louboutin stilettos, totted Doherty’s acoustic guitar as she arrived at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
The Babyshambles frontman swapped his usual set of rock tunes for a surprise performance of the Mary Poppins classic Chim Chim Cher-ee.
Moss has a tendency to join Doherty on stage to sing back up vocals, but this time cheered her man on from the crowd.
The Disney themed performance was for the Forest of No Return, an event which is part of the Meltdown festival.
Doherty is rumoured to be reuniting with Libertines bandmate Carl Barat for a performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Pete and Carl are still arguing about what songs they’re going to perform - but whatever they settle on, it’ll be incredible.”

Naomi Campbell has settled a lawsuit with a former employee who claims the British supermodel abused her verbally and physically on three continents.
The settlement of the lawsuit by Amanda Brack of Fort Lauderdale came to light Thursday when Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Emily Jane Goodman issued a brief order granting dismissal of the case.
The judge’s order said only that ”the action has settled and been discontinued” according to the lawyers’ agreement dated April 27. No settlement terms were disclosed, and lawyers for Brack and Campbell did not immediately return telephone calls Thursday.
Brack, 21, sued Campbell in July 2006 for unspecified money damages, accusing her of assault, battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress. Brack’s papers said the abusive incidents started a month after she began working for Campbell in February 2005.
Brack’s lawsuit was filed while Campbell, 36, was in plea negotiations with Manhattan prosecutors about an assault charge. In that case Campbell was accused of throwing a cell phone at an employee in a dispute over a missing pair of jeans.
Brack’s lawyer, Gerald McCarthy, has said his client and Campbell first met in Paris in a nightclub ladies’ room where the model was upset about a ”costume malfunction.” He said Brack helped and impressed the model, who then asked Brack to work for her.
McCarthy said Campbell assaulted Brack on several occasions in 2005. He said a July 2005 incident, when Campbell implied Brack was stealing from her, was the last straw and Brack quit a few days later.

Move over Giselle, there is a new supermodel in the fashion scene. If you haven’t heard the name Doutzen Kroes yet, no worries, she’s going to become a household name soon. Vogue magazine declared her one of the next big models to hit the scene and Hollyscoop is declaring her the “Next Top Supermodel” to hit the world.
This Netherlands beauty just recently replaced Christy Turlington as the face of Calvin Klein’s fragrance, ‘Eternity’ and is also a Victoria’s Secret model. The 22 year supermodel believes there’s a new wave to hit the world and it’s her. “At the moment I believe that there is a Netherlands wave.”
“In the past there were many Brazilian, Belgian and Russian girls. Now the Dutchies are even too!” We’re pretty sure the world will be quite receptive to her those killer looks.
Douzen is unlike all other stick thin models. She says, “Compared with all the other girls, I have big thighs…but I am very happy with my body”. Killer looks, confidence, and charm–triple treat if you ask us. Unlike all other models, Douzen wasn’t discovered in a shopping mall or an airport. She says, “I took it upon myself to send in pictures to an agency in Amsterdam”.
While the 5’10” Dutch beauty loves the opportunity to travel and meet new and exciting people, she also admits there is a down side to being among the world’s most in-demand models, “I miss my family very much.” When she’s not modeling or traveling around the world, she is busy with her favorite causes “The World Wildlife Fund”, Greenpeace and Unicef.

Roberto Cavalli has quite a pairing of His and Her’s fall 2007 advertising images, starring the controversial couple of the moment (well last few years), Kate Moss and Pete Doherty. While Kate is rather experienced in front of the Cavalli camera, this was Pete’s first high end fashion advertising campaign, though the pair are not photographed together. Nonetheless, Cavalli thought he was a perfect choice. “Kate Moss and Pete Doherty perfectly embody everything that’s contemporary and they’re poetic, creative and wild,” said Cavalli. “They go against mainstream and have an innate and fantastic sense of style.” The shots intend to highlight Doherty’s slightly ambiguous spell and his status of contemporary icon, he added.
“For his extreme lifestyle, at first Pete seems like a very bad role model, but his debauchery does not interest me at all,” added Cavalli. Gosh, if only the people behind the upcoming launch of Kate’s fragrance though the same about Pete.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s supermodel girlfriend has put an end to speculation the couple plan to wed, by claiming she doesn’t believe in marriage.
Israeli beauty Bar Rafaeli, who has been dating the Titanic star for over a year, also reveals she isn’t pregnant, despite reports to the contrary.
“The truth is I don’t believe in marriage,” she told Italian Vogue magazine. “A couple doesn’t need a contract.”
Rafaeli herself was previously married when she was 18 to a man double her age and did not serve in the Israeli army.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has stepped into the debate over birth control and sexual behavior in Brazil, saying Church opposition to condom use was ridiculous and women should have the right to choose on abortion.
Gisele is idolized by many young women in Brazil, the world’s largest Roman Catholic country, where debate over sexual issues has intensified around a visit by Pope Benedict last month.
The Pope stressed the Church’s firm opposition to abortion and contraception and railed against sex outside of marriage.
The Brazilian beauty, one of the world’s top models, told Folha de S.Paulo newspaper in an interview that when the Church made its laws centuries ago, women were expected to be virgins.
“Today no one is a virgin when they get married … show me someone who’s a virgin!” she said.
Asked about abortion, she said a woman should have the right to choose what is best for her.
“If she thinks she doesn’t have the money or the emotional condition to raise a child, why should she give birth?”
Gisele, who had just arrived from New York to take part in Rio de Janeiro’s Fashion Week, also defended condom use.
“It’s ridiculous to ban contraceptives — you only have to think of the diseases that are transmitted without them. I think it should be compulsory to use a contraceptive.” The Brazilian government has clashed with the church over anti-AIDS programs in which it distributes millions of free condoms and Health Minister Jose Temporao has called for a national referendum on abortion.
Other Brazilian celebrities have fallen foul of the Vatican over sex issues. Singer Daniela Mercury was banned from performing at a Vatican Christmas concert in 2005 because she took part in a campaign promoting condom use to prevent AIDS.
She denied rumors she was pregnant.
“Of course I want to have a family in the future. But not at this moment.”

Paris Hilton’s mother Kathy is adament her daughter will emerge from her 23-day prison term “a better person”, and is doing everything she can to support the jailed heiress.
The Simple Life star began her jail term at the Century Regional Detention Center on Sunday night (03Jun07), after violating her probation following a 2006 drink-driving arrest.
And while Kathy Hilton was fighting back the tears as she accompanied the 26-year-old to jail at the weekend, she is confident Paris will learn from her mistakes.
Hilton’s publicist Elliot Mintz tells the New York Post, “Kathy is very emotional. She wanted to exhibit strength for her daughter.
“She thought it was the most important thing to do. She thinks Paris will emerge from this a better person.”

Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is a big fan of British designers and is eager to buy supermodel Kate Moss’ debut designs.
According to contactmusic.com, Moss has an exclusive range of clothes for the British high-end chain store Topshop, one of Barrymore’s favourite shopping destinations in Britain.
She says: ‘Let’s talk about British fashion. I’ve so checked out Kate’s clothes. I’m just like every other woman in the world who thinks Kate Moss is super-stylish. I love to see the clothes she wears.’
‘I was really excited about her Topshop range. I’ve seen a few pieces in magazines and I think it all looks amazing. I’d definitely love to have a closer look,’ the 32-year-old blonde superstar added.

Gisele Bundchen radiates beauty in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Lucky for her home country of Brazil, Gisele has extended her voice to fight for women’s rights. In a recent interview about birth control laws and banning abortion, Gisele said:
If [a woman] thinks she doesn’t have the money or the emotional condition to raise a child, why should she give birth? It’s ridiculous to ban contraceptives — you only have to think of the diseases that are transmitted without them. I think it should be compulsory to use a contraceptive.
It pleases me tremendously to see a woman fighting for something, especially for woman’s rights, especially in Brazil.

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks insists that she does not relish booze or drugs, but just holds a wine glass because that makes her feel ‘sexy’.
The America’s Next Top Model hostess/judge revealed in a personal web posting that although wine tastes ‘nasty, to her, she orders it and keeps holding the glass to look ‘sexy’.
“So, every now and then I’ll order some wine at the table. I’ll only take two sips, but I’ll keep holding the glass cause it makes me feel sexy, but I still don’t drink it because it still tastes kind of nasty to me,” Hollywood Rag quoted Banks, as telling the website.
The 33-year-old recently learned various mixes with wine to make it taste better.
“I recently went to Napa, California, and I learned how to pair wines with certain tastes, how red wine tastes good with salt and bitter things like lemon,” she said.
With so many celebs entering rehab, one thing for Banks to feel ‘lucky’ about is that she does not have much liking for alcohol.
“I feel like I’ve been very lucky because I don’t really have an addictive personality. I’ve never had any drugs and I had a little taste of alcohol when I was 12-years-old, but that’s about it,” she said.
The model insisted that is a no alcohol girl’ or a ‘drug girl’.
“I’m not really an ‘alcohol girl’ and I’m definitely not a ‘drug girl’,” she added.
