Cara Delevingne to design for DKNY

She has been modeling for less than five years, but British model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne can already boast having designed for two high-end fashion labels, among other notable achievements.

The twenty-one year-old beauty, who previously designed her own collection of handbags for Mulberry, will collaborate on a capsule offering with DKNY. “Get Ready!!! It’s Coming… #Cara4DKNY,” said Delevingne next to a photo she shared on Instagram on Monday of what appears to be the official logo for the special edition collection.

Moreover, the girl with the trademark eyebrows is holding a social media casting call to recruit a number of fans to be featured in the collection’s campaign. The contest, which will conclude on June 16th, requires hopefuls aged eighteen or older to submit an a photo of themselves “looking fresh” with the hashtags #CaraD4DKNY and #CaraWantsYou.

The exclusive fifteen-piece collection, which includes beanies, t-shirts and a leather motorcycle jacket with removable sleeves, will be available in stores and online in Autumn.
