Photographed by Randall Slavin and styled by Cannon 26-year-old North Carolina native showcases her incredibly toned figure in the sexy swimsuit spread shot at Bahamas resort Baha Mar. Sporting several styles of swimwear and summer themed beachwear Hunt makes a very confident and beautiful shoot.

In her interview with the glossy she dishes on how she got her modeling start, her highly documented friendship with Taylor Swift and what it’s like to model lingerie in front of the cameras.

Hunt who has come a long way from her Free People campaign ads and Victoria’s Secret catalog modeling days didnt earn her wings overnight. “At the time, I was shooting a lot of their catalog, and one day it just so happened that Ed Razek [chief marketing officer of l Brands, Victoria’s Secret’s parent company] came by the shoot, and everything changed from that moment on,” she told Ocean Drive. “He immediately was interested in me, and he took a chance and decided to put me on an advertising job. That was huge for me because it took me from just being one of the catalog girls to being one of the featured girls.”

When asked about how she embraces social media, Hunt who has a strong following of 740,000 Instagram followers says, “You can have a voice. You can choose the way people perceive you, I think the benefit of it for models is we can have a say over which pictures we choose to put on the Internet, whereas with the jobs we do, they put whatever photos make the clothes look great. we get to art direct our own gallery.”

While she’s a full-fledged member of Swift’s star-studded squad of fierce and fabulous female friends and had a guest appearance in her “Bad Blood” music video, Hunt says We need more people like Swift. “I can’t say enough good things about her — I admire her so much as a person and as a role model for young women. We need more people like her who really want to bring women together, and not over-sexualize themselves as that being what makes them worthy. Plus, she’s just talented, and she’s just the best.” she tells the mag of her relationship with Swift.

Having suffered from Scoliosis since she was 14 and had major surgery to insert metal rods to help straighten her back Hunt says she tries to keep a low impact while exercising. “I have scoliosis, so exercises can be really hard on my back, whether it’s too much running, jumping, or boxing. I’ll do those things once in a while, but I keep it mostly Pilates, resistance-band based, softer exercises that build strength from inside the muscle.”

Hunt adds that her family has been her strongest support system since she launched her career. “A lot of my friends — Taylor included — we all come from similar backgrounds of smaller towns and hardworking families that are very family oriented. I think that makes such a big difference when you go off into the world trying to achieve something, knowing that somebody will be there in case you fail, somebody will be there to hug you and cook you a nice meal.”
