Rosie Huntington-Whiteley covers the September 2015 issue of Harper’s Bazaar which is also its biggest issue of the year.

Photographed by Alexi Lubormirski and styled by Miranda Almond, the 28 year old model appears on the newsstand cover in a blue Prada Dress. For the subscribers edition cover Rosie sports a Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane dress and jacket, Eddie Borgo bracelet, Tiffany & Co ring and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. For the rest of the spread Rosie models looks from the fall collections of Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen.

In the accompanying interview, the ambitious lingerie model tells the magazine about the highs and lows of fame, her female role models and the one thing that keeps her up at night.

‘I guess your childhood is everything, isn’t it? “Mine was idyllic. I had a very simple and sheltered upbringing, mostly spent outdoors, surrounded by nature. I think that’s a privilege, especially in this day and age. Not everybody gets that.’ she says speaking of her childhood.

Rosie credits her family for making her into the success that she is today. ‘That safety net of love gave me the ability to go out and do what I wanted. A lot of models have to support their families and so they take on jobs just because they need to. I’ve always been able to focus on myself. That’s what my dad said when I left home: go and be selfish.’

‘My mum always tells me to follow my heart. Another piece of advice of hers – and this isn’t the nicest thing, but she says it when I’m feeling nervous about something – is to remember that everyone’s shit stinks’ she says speaking of mother whom she credits with installing a fighting spirit in her.

The magazine is also notable for its special features and is credited to it’s global fashion director Carine Roitfeld, who teamed up with legendary photographer Jean-Paul Goude to transform today’s icons into the fantasy icons they identify with most.
