Christy Turlington Fronts Spring/Summer 2016 John Galliano Brand Ad Campaign
Iconic American supermodel Christy Turlington has been tapped by the John Galliano fashion house for its new ad campaign.
Shot in New York by Dutch fashion photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Turlington stuns in a silk georgette top and tailored trousers in the black-and-white snapshot.
Galliano brand creative director Bill Gaytten worked with Atelier Franck Durand on the new advertisement which is set to break in the March issues of French Vogue, Italian Vogue, French Elle and Dazed & Confused, among others.
‘At a time when so much feels ephemeral, Christy is the embodiment of unaffected, everlasting style. What impresses me most in this image is how Inez and Vinoodh have captured her grace while alluding to the boldness at the heart of this brand,’ Bill Gaytten told WWD.
The John Galliano fashion house is also relaunching its website, as well its visual identity.
