Riani launches first online shop


Riani has launched its first online store for its 40th anniversary.

The German fashion label was founded in 1978 by Jurgen Buckenmaier and laid the cornerstone for success with its Bucki trousers with over 100,000 pairs being sold. In 2007, his wife Martina joined the company as CEO, and for the 35th anniversary in 2013, Riani showed for the first time a collection at the Berlin Fashion Week.

The online shop is a useful addition to Riani’s four stores and numerous European retailers. It has a mobile-friendly experience and offers styling tips for each product. There’s also a shoppable Instagram. Brand Manager Mona Buckenmaier is the second generation of the family-run company in the Swabian town of Schorndorf.

For the launch of the online shop the Buckenmaier’s have come up with a special feature: The Riani packages are delivered in a white Riani gift box lovingly wrapped by hand in tissue paper and with a pink bow.
