Byron Bay Label Spell Launches Partnership With Fashion Rental startup GlamCorner
Cult Aussie fashion brand Spell has signed a partnership with Australian fashion rental startup GlamCorner.
Titled ‘Sister to Sister’, the collaboration offers fans a new way to engage with their favourite brand with access to exclusive designer pieces on a subscription or one-time basis. From recent collection such as Sundown, Star-Crossed Lovers and Mystic to archival styles, fans can rent items they may not wear regularly but want for special moments.
Once a shopper books their favourite dress it will be delivered to their door anywhere in Australia. The dress can be rented for 4 or 8 days and comes with accidental damage insurance. In case one’s original choice doesn’t work out perfectly they can also avail of a backup dress feature is designed to give one an alternative option. If the item doesn’t fit or one is not happy with it they can send it back with all the tags fully intact, and a refund or an exchange will be provided.
According to Glamcorner, approximately 6,000kgs of clothes gets thrown out every 10 minutes by Australians and hence through the offering, fans are invited to be a part of the circular fashion revolution and reduce the size of their wardrobe as well as their environmental impact of unused clothing on our planet.

Glamcorner was founded in 2012 in Sydney by Dean Jones and Audrey Khaing-Jones and is one of the few rental platforms available for Australian consumers. Spell or Spell & The Gypsy Collective was founded in the idyllic beachside town of Byron Bay, by sisters Isabella and Elizabeth Briedis in 2009.
