Every summer, we see various swimwear trends trying to take over the fashion market. Once we get to July, we already know which ones managed to turn heads and really become what they were hoping for in the first place: A real trend, instead of being a wannabe. Minimal Cuts and Lots of Pink Shades Amidst Neutral Tones
The cuts of the hottest women’s swimwear this summer have two things in common: they are minimal and feature clean lines. This truly lets the body talk instead of the swimsuit. It can fit anybody, just as long as one makes sure that the model they choose favors the way their body is curved and places the emphasis on the part that they love best. The simplicity of the designs makes it easy to distinguish between a piece that fits and one that doesn’t.
While color palettes are also minimal, one shade that really did take over, is pink. While it’s hard to tell if designers were influenced by the “Barbie” movie that hit cinemas, or if there were other reasons involved. All we can say for certain is that they managed to mix it with white, orange, beige and black wonderfully. But if you prefer to go all out, chose one that is fully pink. Although a darker shade would be advised in such a case.
Twists and Cutouts Have Taken Over Swimwear as Well
This spring, the fashion world had already shown us the power of twists and cutouts in women’s dresses. The industry decided to continue along the same line, and brought those two ideas back, but in the form of swimsuits. One must admit that the results are flattering to the body and easy in the eyes of those who see women wearing them, whether by the pool or on the beach.
The one thing that they do is disrupt vision, which automatically becomes an eye-catcher. A good example is one-piece swimwear which is open at the belly or that shows a little flesh on one of the two sides of the bathing suit. As for the two-piece, the wild curves that they create on top certainly leaves no indifference as well. In fact, they have become some of the hottest clothes to wear this summer.
Black Is in Fashion
Black never really goes out of style, but it is fair to say that in 2023 it took over the market for swimwear. It can be found in all the models that we have mentioned above, but also in more traditional ones as well. Fully black is the best way to go, especially for a two-piece swimsuit. But you can also prefer to buy one that is a little lighter on the eyes, by choosing a model where it mixes with white. In both cases, you can be assured that you will be considered as trendy, which is what we all want, right?
