Kering appoints new CEOs at Ginori 1735 and Brioni
French luxury goods conglomerate Kering has announced the appointment of Mehdi Benabadji as CEO of Ginori 1735 and Federico Arrigoni as CEO of Brioni, respectively, effective May 6, 2025.
As CEO of Ginori 1735, Benabadji will spearhead the next phase of expansion for the iconic Florentine House, further elevating its position in the global luxury lifestyle and homeware segment. He will report to Jean-Marc Duplaix, Kering Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer. A graduate of France’s ESSEC Business School, Benabadji joined Kering in 2003 and from 2012 – 2019 held various roles including Chief Operations Officer, of the Group’s integrated logistics and industrial activities. In 2020 he was appointed as CEO of Brioni.
‘Ginori 1735 is a gem of Italian savoir-faire in porcelain, tableware and decoration, and I am glad that Mehdi will bring his deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship as well as his strong experience in international brand development to the House. I am sure that he will help Ginori 1735 reach the further stage in its global growth,’ Duplaix said in a press release.
As CEO of Brioni, Federico Arrigoni will further consolidate the global positioning of the House and increase its desirability and success. He will report to Francesca Bellettini, Kering Deputy CEO in charge of Brand Development. Prior to his new role, he was Deputy CEO and Asia Pacific President of Saint Laurent from July 2023. Arrigoni joined Kering in 2006 at Gucci while prior to that he has held positions at Decathlon, Autogrill and Dolce&Gabbana.
