Playboy Launches Global Model Search for Lingerie Collection with Honey Birdette

Global pleasure and leisure company Playboy, Inc has launched a new global model search for its upcoming Collaboration with luxury Australian lingerie and lifestyle brand Honey Birdette.

The competition invites aspiring models and creators worldwide to compete for the opportunity to front a global advertising campaign lensed by celebrity photographer Alana O’Herlihy, appear in the pages of Playboy’s quarterly print magazine, a cash prize of USD 100,000 as well as one year supply of Honey Birdette lingerie delivered as 12 premium sets (one per month). The top 50 finalists, will be judged by a panel of ‘Legacy Playmates’ and industry experts such as Shanna Moakler, Brande Roderick, Summer Altice, Daphnee Duplaix, and Gillian Nation.

Four runners-up will receive an exclusive invitation to the Honey Birdette x Playboy Halloween Takeover, access to an exclusive Honey Birdette influencer gifting suite, and a Playboy membership. The top 30 finalists will receive Diamond status in The Honey Club, a Playboy digital membership, and exclusive gifts from both brands.

The competition buildis on Playboy’s legacy for previous reader-driven contests like Playmate of the Year that drove more than 1.7 million votes and 17,000 contestants-resulting in the casting of Instagram sensation Lauren Summer as Miss February.

The current registration window for the playboy model search is open until June 8, 2026, Aspiring creators must register at contests.playboy.com or via the link in Playboy’s social media bios. The final round of voting will conclude on July 31 and the global advertising campaign fronted by the winner is expected to debut in the latter half of 2026.

We’re building a system where talent, content, and commerce intersect, giving rising models and creators not just visibility, but real opportunity within the Playboy umbrella,’ Ben Kohn, CEO at Playboy stated in a press release.

The upcoming Playboy x Honey Birdette 2026 collection marks a major turning point, blending Honey Birdette’s high-fashion luxury with the iconic ‘provocative aesthetic’ that Playboy is known for. It is also the first official co-branded release since Honey Birdette was acquired by PLBY Group (parent company of Playboy) in 2021.
