Rihanna And Dior Collaborate on Sunglass Collection
Rihanna has collaborated with Dior on a new sunglasses collection.
Simply entitled, ‘Rihanna’ the futuristic collection was inspired by La Forge from Star Trek. ‘I’ve always been obsessed with his eyewear, and when I got to Dior and saw all the materials I could play with, it all just came together,’ Rihanna said in a statement.
The collection will launch this June exclusively to Dior stores and will be available in six different color variations – silver, pink, blue, green and red retailing for $840. A 24 Carat Gold plated version will also be available for $1,950.
The collection marks Rihanna’s first design project for Dior. While she is already a brand ambassador for the French fashion house, she has expanded her horizons collaborating with Puma, Manolo Blahnik and a soon to be launched makeup range for Fenty Beauty.
