Adriana Lima & Alessandra Ambrosio Reportedly Leaving Victoria’s Secret
Two of Victoria’s Secret‘s longest-serving Angels Adriana Lima & Alessandra Ambrosio, are reportedly leaving the Lingerie giant after this years Fashion Show. Sources told PageSix that it was going to be their final catwalk.
Earlier last week both models had revealed the Fantasy Bra’s valued at $2 million each on Good Morning America which they will be wearing at the show.
The news of their leaving is not all that unexpected given their long tenure of 14 and 10 years respectively. What’s interesting to see is where these two iconic ladies will head next. Alessandra has just released her own swimwear line and Adriana will definitely be hot property for other brand campaigns to come.
Victoria’s Secret has yet to confirm and comment on the departure. It seems likely that a conflict of interest for Ambrosio could be one reason (since she models for her own swimwear line), and considering that both models have been with the brand for more than a decade it might be the right time for them to move on.
